I recently finished the website for Rybakken Hytter og Camping — http://www.rybakken.com/. Rybakken Hytter og Camping is a camping site ran by my aunt and uncle. They wanted to establish a presence on the web, and asked me if I would create a website for them. Here’s how it turned out:
I didn’t write the back-end code from scratch this time, as I did with LFK G90’s website. Instead I decided to go with a ready-made CMS, and Drupal is the one I ended up with.
As my aunt and uncle wanted to be able to edit the website content themself, I installed some modules to make this easier; TinyMCE (WYSIWYG editor), Image (image upload) and Image assist (insertion of images in the WYSIWYG editing area). I also installed a guestbook module.
Setting up Drupal was easier than I expected, and I’ve got it to work more or less exactly the way I want it. Creating the custom theme was also very simple. If you need a CMS for one of your projects, check out Drupal.
