So, the project week has started and the first day is over. I showed up at school at 9 o’clock this morning as usual, as we were to talk with our instructors before starting. When I’d done that I went around the whole school taking pictures of the building from both the inside and the outside.
After spending about an hour and a half at doing that, I went to the city hall to meet one of the guys from the estate department. We looked through the floor plans of the school, and he sent them to me by email. When I got back to the school I continued taking photos. When the school day was over, I had taken 308 photos in all. 
After I got back home I started mapping. I connected an extra screen to the computer, so I can have Hammer Editor open on my primary screen and the floor plans/reference photos open on the secondary. Work progressed very slowly though, but I did manage to make the upper front and most of the upper entrance hall. The map currently looks like this:

(Yeah, yeah, I know, I cheated on the long wall… I’ll fix that later. )
Nothing too impressive at the moment, but when I get the rest of the brushwork finished and find some better textures it’ll look much nicer.
