Moblog up and running
The moblog is now up and running. A moblog you say? Yeah, moblog, an abbreviation for “mobile photo weblog”. In other words, a weblog where you submit photos from your mobile phone. So, now you know what that bar at the top of the front page is. 
The moblog is powered by Gallery 2, which also powers my recently launched photo gallery. To upload a photo to the moblog I simply upload it to a special album in the gallery. I then have a PHP script on the front page of the weblog which displays the thumbnails of the last four entries in that album.
At the moment I have to upload pictures to the moblog via a computer, but sometime in the future I’m going to mock up a solution for posting directly from the phone. I’ll probably release the source code for it when it’s done.
